Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer translation services?

Yes. We offer on-site interpretation services for business meetings, medical appointments, legal depositions and hearings, and government and immigration proceedings. We offer skilled translation services for documents, including technical manuals, government papers, business papers, and legal documents.

Can you come with me to my court hearing and translate?

Yes. We offer on-site translation services throughout the Detroit metro area. We also offer virtual services if you need documents interpreted prior to your court date.

Do you offer instant translation services during business meetings?

Yes. We offer simultaneous interpretation services (when the language interpretation is given while the speaker is delivering the message, often delivered via an earpiece or in a different room) or consecutive interpretation (when the speaker pauses so that the interpreter can give a verbal translation of what has just been said). Both these services work well in meetings, although consecutive interpretation is often only used when a limited number of languages are involved.

What kinds of documents can you translate?

We translate most types of documents, including immigration papers, legal documents, medical forms and information, military documents, technical information, product manuals, business documents, government forms and information, automotive industry documents, and more.

Will the translated documents be edited for accuracy?

Yes. Our translation team includes an editing department. Your documents will be edited for grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

What languages do you work with?

We can translate and interpret in over 150 languages and dialects, including all major languages and many dialects that are used less often. We work with over 25 European languages, over a dozen African languages, all the major Middle Eastern languages, and over 20 Asian languages. Please contact us for specific information about the dialect or language you need translated or interpreted.

What’s the difference between interpretation and translation?

Translation usually refers to written documents while interpretation refers to oral (spoken) language.
